Sensory Playgroup (Age 4-6 *with parent/guardian)

Amy runs sensory playgroups for autistic and additional needs children aged two upwards through her company Little Kneaders. She runs a weekly autistic and additional needs playgroup in Wexford and also travels around Ireland doing sensory play workshops with schools, special schools, women's refuges and charities.

The playgroup workshops consist of five different taste-safe stations for children to explore and a large area with sensory toys and books. Examples of sensory stations are rainbow jelly, cloud dough, natural bubbling potions, fairy tea, dinosaur sensory grain small world, frog pond etc. See photos below for a better understanding. The sensory group is completely child led and the children are able to move freely between all the stations and the toy/book area at their own pace.   Amy will run 1 hour workshops for each of the following age groups (2-4), (4-6) and (7-9). Each workshop will cost €15 per child and parent/guardian support is required on the day.
